A “Typical Week” at CJF Summer Camp:
Monday – Getting into the Groove:
Each week kicks off with a fun-filled day designed to ease campers into the week ahead. Activities range from sports like field hockey to creative projects like painting or cooking. Campers have the chance to dive into new adventures, whether that means trying their hand at Tae Kwon Do, performing in a circus workshop, or starting a new art project.
Spirit Tuesdays – Let the Fun Begin:
Tuesdays are all about unleashing your inner wild side! It’s Spirit Day, where campers and staff don their zaniest outfits, from mismatched shoes to hilarious hats and everything in between. It’s a day full of laughter, creativity, and team spirit that fosters a sense of community.
Water Wednesdays – Splashing Good Fun:
Hump day means it’s time to cool off! Our Water Day is packed with slip-n-slides, water balloons, super soakers, and giant inflatable water slides. Campers dive into the fun and let loose with water games and cool treats like popsicles to keep everyone refreshed.
Shake It Up Thursdays – Let’s Get Creative:
Thursdays are dedicated to exploring the arts in all its forms! Whether it’s dancing, music, theater, or hands-on crafts, campers get the opportunity to unleash their creativity. They’ll enjoy painting, learning a new instrument, or even participating in an improv class, all in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Fun Fridays – Themed Extravaganza:
Fridays are for celebrating the week’s accomplishments with a themed event that everyone looks forward to. From pajama parties to country hoedowns, each Fun Friday features a unique theme that encourages teamwork, laughter, and fun. Whether it’s a mystery day or a carnival, Friday wraps up the week with a bang.
Skill-building Activities:
Beyond the daily themes, we provide campers with a variety of activities that expand their minds and bodies. Whether it’s leadership development through teambuilding exercises, mindfulness through yoga, or STEM activities like video game design or robotics, there’s something for every child.
