“I had the incredible opportunity to volunteer at CJF Summer Camp from 2013 to 2016, and it was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. As a college student at the time, I was looking for ways to give back while gaining leadership skills—and CJF gave me that in spades.
What stood out the most during my time as a volunteer was the camp’s commitment to both fun and personal development. Watching the campers grow, try new things, and form lasting friendships was truly inspiring. I worked alongside an amazing team of mentors and instructors who were passionate about helping the kids not only learn new skills but also develop confidence and resilience.
Being part of CJF shaped my own path in so many ways. It instilled in me the importance of mentorship, creativity, and community. I’ve carried those lessons with me throughout my career, and I’m so grateful for everything CJF taught me, both as a volunteer and as a person. The memories I made during those summers will stay with me forever, and I highly encourage anyone considering volunteering with CJF to do so—you won’t regret it!”
